Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is a polyunsaturated fatty acid that occurs naturally in the adipose tissue and milk of ruminants. INNOBlO uses food-grade safflower seed oil as antioxidants raw materials and converts linoleic acid into conjugated linoleic acid through a conjugation reaction. Finally, a food-grade lipase is used as a catalyst to prepare conjugated linoleic acid glycerides.
