The comb tooth vertical lifting tower parking system uses lifting mechanical devices to lift vehicles to designated floors, and through exchange with lateral conveyors, stores the vehicles in the garages on both sides of the lifting channel. The vertical car parking system is generally composed of an overall frame, lifting system, lateral movement system, and control system.

The overall framework of this parking system is steel structure, which can be divided into fixed columns, longitudinal beams, cross beams and slant support according to the use. Steel structures are mainly made of flat tubes, H-shaped steel, channel steel, angle steel and other steel materials, which are connected into frame structures using high-strength bolts and welding methods [28,29]. The overall structure has the characteristics of symmetrical arrangement, reasonable force distribution, and high strength, which can meet the requirements of overall strength and stability, while reducing the weight of the whole machine and improving its service life. Each floor and each column will be connected and fixed with slant support. The arrangement of slant support is generally diagonal, which is mainly used to ensure the stability of the steel structure and resist the horizontal force.
