GPPS is a shiny and transparent particle. Light weight, low price, low water absorption, good colorability, dimensional stability, good electrical performance, transparent products, easy processing. GPPS is soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, aliphatic ketones and esters, but can only swell in acetone. It can withstand the action of some mineral oils, organic acids, alkalis, salts, lower alcohols and their aqueous solutions. With low water absorption, it can still maintain its mechanical properties and dimensional stability in wet environment. It has excellent electrical performance, high volume resistance and surface resistance, and is not affected by temperature and humidity changes, nor by corona discharge. Radiation resistance is also very good.
