Alginate dressing is a type of fibrous dressing made of 100% polymer material (alginate).This alginate dressing is medical dressing with high absorption property.The silver-impregnated calcium alginate fibres, when in contact with wound exudate or blood, form a gel which creates a moist wound healing environment. The Alginate Ag Silver Dressing in the wound dressing has an antimicrobial effect upon various types of microorganisms including Staphylococcus Aureus and Escherichia Coli. Instructions for use

• Carefully clean the wound and its surrounding area with sterile water or saline solution and dry the surrounding skin gently.
• Select the right size of dressing for the wound area. Carefully open the sterile pouch to remove the dressing inside.
• A secondary dressing is necessary when using calcium alginates. If needed, cut the tape and dressing using sterile scissors. 
• Dampen dressing with sterile water or saline solution to avoid damaging the surrounding skin, then secure it to the wound area.
