It is as a transparent light guide material that made from transparent poly compound and Fluoroplastic. So it can not emit light itself. It should use a LED light engine to give light from one end. Light travel alone the whole fiber body to achieve light transferring effect. The light color depends on lights given by LED engine.

By the way, for this superbrightness core fiber, light travel distance is only around 1-2 meter away if used 1 led light source. Also we can use 2 LED engine to give light from both end of fiber to double the light transfer distance to 4 meters.
