PS(polystyrene system plastics) refers to a class of plastics including styrene in the macromolecular chain, including styrene and its copolymer, specific varieties include ordinary polystyrene (GPPS), high impact polystyrene (HIPS), hairable polystyrene (EPS) and metallocene polystyrene (SPS), etc.

Features:

A, mechanical properties: high strength, fatigue resistance, dimensional stability, creep is also small (there is little change under high temperature conditions);

C, solvent resistance: no stress cracking;

D. Stability to water: easy to decompose in water (caution should be used in high temperature and high humidity environment);

Advantages:

Polystyrene acid alkali resistance and low energy alcohol, by many hydrocarbons, ketones, high fat fat erosion and softening, soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons.

Electric insulation is good, is a good high frequency insulation material, has excellent and arc.

Polystyrene is a highly transparent material with a high surface gloss. Easy to print.

Polystyrene can be colored freely, odorless, tasteless and non-toxic, not fungal growth.
