DBEM10 pilot relief valve

DBE type valve is a pilot relief valve with seat valve structure. The valve allows the system pressure to vary continuously with electrical input signals. It mainly includes a pilot valve (1) with a proportional solenoid (2) and a main valve (3) with a main spool assembly (4).

The system pressure limit is set by the proportional solenoid (2) and is related to the current. Pressure from the system acts on the main spool (4) and at the same time, through the pilot valve fitted with an orifice (5), acts on the spring-loaded side of the main spool (4) and on the pilot spool ( 6) on. If the system pressure rises above the set value corresponding to the solenoid force, the pilot spool (6) opens. At this time, the pilot oil can flow back to the tank, and the orifice group creates a pressure drop acting on the main spool (4), causing it to rise from the valve seat and open the passage from the pump to the tank.

To protect the system from impermissibly high voltages caused by impermissibly high current spikes at the proportional solenoid (2). An alternative is to install a spring-loaded pressure relief valve (7) for maximum pressure protection.
