Zinc Stearate is an excellent general-purpose zinc stearate suitable in a wide range of applications where a very fine
particle size and lower ash zinc stearate are preferred. It also offers good melt clarity, heat stability, very low chloride content,
and low bulk density.
1. Zinc stearate is widely used as a release agent for the production of many kinds of objects rubber, polyurethane, polyester
processing system, powder metallurgy. These applications exploit its "non-stick" properties.In cosmetics, zinc stearate is a
lubricant and thickening to improve texture.
2. Zinc stearate was used as a reference compound to study the infrared spectra of a colloidal stearate-capped ZnO catalyst
substrate for analysing gas adsorption on a colloidal stearate-capped zinc oxide (ZnO) surface.
