Instructions for using the elliptical trainer machine:
1. Warm up activities: Before starting to use the elliptical gym equipment, perform 5-10 minutes of warm-up activities such as jogging, brisk walking, or skipping rope to increase heart rate and put the body into a state of exercise. Wear appropriate sports shoes for exercise and avoid using the elliptical machine barefoot or in slippers to reduce the risk of foot injuries.
Adjust the parameters of the elliptical exercise bike machine: Adjust the speed, resistance, and slope of the elliptical machine according to personal physical condition and exercise needs. Beginners are advised to start with low speed and resistance, gradually adapt, and then increase the difficulty.
2. Stand posture adjustment: Place both feet on the pedals, with toes facing forward and knees slightly bent in the same direction as the toes, avoiding knee inward or outward movement. Slightly lean forward, tighten your abdomen, straighten your back, keep your shoulders heavy and chest straight, and maintain upper body stability.
Power generation method: mainly relying on the muscles behind the buttocks and thighs to exert force, pushing the pedal movement. Heels should rest firmly on the pedal, do not tiptoe or use your toes to exert force. At the same time, gently grip the armrest with both hands and swing naturally with the movement of the feet to maintain body balance.
Breathing coordination: Maintain even breathing during exercise. It is usually recommended to inhale when stepping and exhale when pushing to better coordinate muscle strength.
3. Control speed: Choose the appropriate speed for exercise based on individual physical ability and exercise goals. Beginners can start at a low speed and gradually adapt before increasing their speed. Be careful not to blindly pursue high speed to avoid sports injuries.
Adjust resistance: Adjust the resistance of the elliptical machine according to the exercise effect and personal feelings.
Maintain rhythm: Maintain a stable rhythm and speed during exercise, avoiding sudden acceleration or deceleration.
4. Stretching and Relaxation: After exercising, perform full body stretching and relaxation activities, especially focusing on muscle groups such as thighs, calves, and buttocks. This helps relieve muscle tension, prevent soreness and stiffness.
Moisturizing: After exercise, replenish water appropriately to replenish the lost water and electrolytes in the body.
