Achromatic Cylindrical Lens

An achromatic cylindrical lens is single component made by gluing two cylindrical surface lenses having different refractive indexes. Achromatic Cylindrical Lenses are similar in design and function to a standard cylinder lens, but are ideal for eliminating spherical and chromatic aberration at the image plane. When used with a broadband light source, the lens will minimize chromatic aberration, yielding focused lines with less color separation, or will produce brilliant anamorphic images.
Application of cylindrical lens:
This is useful in applications such as bar code scanning, laser projection,astigmatism correction, beam shaping, and illumination systems. Our customers use
