1. Introduction

Tower cranes in general are composed of three main parts: the base, the mast or tower, and the slewing unit.

1) The base is bolted to a large concrete foundation that supports the crane.

2) The base connects to the mast, which gives the tower crane its height.

3) The slewing unit consists of a gear and motor, attached to the top of the mast, allowing the crane to rotate along its axis. 

Tower crane fixing angle is connected between tower body and concrete foundation. Usually, the model of fixing angle is based on the tower crane mast section, such as 1.2m s24 mast section, 1.6m L46a1 mast section, 2.0m l68b2 mast section. 

The fixing angles and the template can be supplied before the delivery of the crane, because the concrete foundation requires to be prepared in advance.
