Principles and Working:

The process typically involves three main stages: preheating, cooling, and transfer. During preheating, the specimen is placed in the hot chamber, where it is subjected to high temperatures that match the desired thermal shock conditions. Next, the specimen is rapidly transferred to the cold chamber. The sudden change in temperature induces thermal stress on the material, potentially leading to cracks, fractures, or other failures. Finally, the specimen is transferred back to the hot chamber or the ambient chamber, depending on the testing requirements.
