(2) Inhibition of central nervous activity causes sedation and hypnosis;

(3) Strengthening the role of antitussive drugs;

(4) Diphenhydramine Hcl also has anti-vertigo and anti-tremor paralysis effects.

(5) Diphenhydramine is one of the most widely used over-the-counter medications for humans and pets. It is classified as an antihistamine. It is a regular prescription drug prescribed primarily for dogs, but occasionally for cats.
