The AV 5-axis waterjet cutter features a unique "V" shaped five-axis head structure, ensuring precise positioning of the cutting point at the center of the sphere. This eliminates the need for complex interpolation calculations and enhances efficiency when cutting on a flat surface, as the Z-axis remains stationary. Moreover, it effectively eliminates concavity at sharp corner transitions and accommodates both positive and negative cutting bevel angles of up to 10°. Unlike three-axis machines, the AV 5-axis waterjet cutter resolves the issue of inclined cutting surfaces, thereby boosting cutting efficiency. Its cutting head, built on the standard three-axis (x-axis, y-axis, z-axis), integrates the A-axis (rotation around the x-axis) and the V-axis (rotation around the y-axis), allowing deflection at any angle.
