Spandex core-spun yarn is a yarn with spandex as the core and one or more non-elastic staple fibers. The core of the core yarn is surrounded by the outer fiber, and the two are closely combined. The outer fibers of spandex core-yarn can be natural fibers such as cotton, linen, silk, wool, or acrylic or other pure and blended chemical fibers. The core silk spandex provides excellent elasticity, and the outer fibers provide different styles of surface properties.
