Heat exchanger
A heat exchanger is a vessel that transfers heat energy from the working medium to the coolant. It plays an important role in the petroleum, Chemical, Chemical Industry, Chemical Products, Building Materials, power food and other industries. It can be used as a heater, cooler, condenser, evaporator and reboiler.
It works as follows:
1. Fluid flow: There are two fluid channels inside the heat switch, which are heat source fluid and cooling fluid. The heat source fluid is usually the fluid from which heat is to be transferred, while the cooling fluid is usually the fluid that needs to absorb heat.
2. Heat conduction: When the heat source fluid flows through one side of the heat exchanger, the heat conduction through the wall plate of the heat exchanger (usually made of metal) transfers the heat to the side of the cooling fluid.
3. Heat exchange: The heat of the heat source fluid is transmitted through the wall panel to the other side of the wall panel, and then further transmitted to the cooling fluid, making its temperature rise.
4. Fluid commutation: In order to ensure heat exchange efficiency, it is usually necessary to make the heat source fluid and cooling fluid flow in the opposite direction in the heat exchanger, which can maximize the heat transfer area and improve the heat exchange efficiency.
5. Heat balance: During the heat exchange process, the temperature of the heat source fluid decreases, while the temperature of the cooling fluid rises, and finally reaches the equilibrium state of the temperature of the two fluids.
