Usage of CO2 fire extinguishers

As long as the fire extinguisher is raised or carried to the fire site, about 5 meters away from the combustion, pull out the fire extinguisher safety pin, hold the handle at the root of the horn with one hand, and grasp the pressure handle of the valve with the other hand. For carbon dioxide fire extinguishers without spray hoses, the horn should be positioned 70-90 degrees toward the upper plate. When using, do not grasp the outer wall of the horn or the metal connecting pipe directly with your hand to prevent your hand from being frostbitten. When extinguishing the fire, when the flammable liquid is burning in a flowing manner, the user will spray the jet of carbon dioxide extinguishing agent from near to far to the flame. If the flammable liquid burns in the container, the user should lift the horn. Spray from the upper side of the container into the burning container. However, the carbon dioxide jet cannot directly impact the flammable liquid surface to prevent the flammable liquid from rushing out of the container and expanding the fire, causing difficulty in extinguishing the fire.
