Physical Properties
1, Fe2O3,%≥86; 2, screen residue (320 mesh), %≤0.5; 3, water soluble salt, ≤0.5%; 4, moisture, ≤1%; 5, oil absorption, 25-35%; 6, PH value :3.5-7.
A lemon yellow to brown powder. The relative density is 2.44~3.60. Melting point 350~400℃. Insoluble in water, alcohol, soluble in acid. The fine powder is a crystalline iron oxide hydrate. Due to different production methods and operating conditions, the degree of hydration is different, and the crystal structure and physical properties are very different. Coloring power, covering power, light resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, heat resistance are good. Above 150℃, it decomposes into crystal water and turns red. Inhalation of dust can cause pneumoconiosis, and the maximum allowable concentration in the air is 5mg/m2.
