Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) is a water-soluble degradable polymer material with many properties such as cohesiveness, fiber formation, emulsion stability, gas barrier, film formation, biodegradability, etc. It is mainly used in the production of polymerization additives, special fibers, adhesives, safety glass sandwich film (PVB film), water soluble film, optical film, etc. It is widely used in fine chemical industry, green building, paper making, fiber, automobile, degradable packaging, optoelectronics, medicine and other industries.

PVA 0599  has good solubility, film forming, adhesion, thermal stability, solvent resistance and reactivity.

Applied Range

(1) Solubility: strong hydrophilic, easily soluble in water (generally dissolved in hot water above 90 ° C), insoluble in almost all organic solvents.

(2) Film formation: easy film formation, its film mechanical properties are excellent. In addition to H2O, PVA films have excellent resistance to H2, N2, O2 and other gases.

(3) Adhesion: It has good adhesion with hydrophilic cellulose and paper.

(4) Thermal stability: When the sheet is heated to more than 130 ° C, the appearance gradually changes. Fully alcoholized PVA begins to melt at about 230℃, and begins to decompose above 200℃.

(5) Solvent resistance: PVA has strong resistance to weak acid and weak alkaline, and has good oil resistance.

(6) Reactivity: with excellent crosslinking reactivity, can crosslink with boric acid, acetal reaction with formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, etc., the product has water resistance.
