HDPE Equal Tee

    HDPE Docking Equal Tee is a type of hot melt injection molding butt joint, also known as hot melt injection molding butt joint equal diameter tee. It is a tee hdpe pipe fittings used to connect HDPE pipe, But it cannot be connected to other pipelines, such as PPR pipe, ductile iron pipes, steel pipes, etc,equal tee with three equal ports for connecting three pipes of the same diameter. Therefore, it is called an "equal diameter tee".Equal diameter tees are widely used in the construction and maintenance of industries such as petrochemicals, petroleum and natural gas, liquefied gas, fertilizers, power plants, nuclear power, shipbuilding, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, food hygiene, and urban construction. This type of hdpe water pipe has a high pressure requirement, with a maximum pressure of 600 kilograms.

Basic characteristics
1. Material: HDPE pipe and fittings are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), it has the characteristics of high toughness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, lightweight, rust prevention, non-toxic, and hygienic.
2. Color: Usually black.
3. Connection method: Installation is mainly carried out through socket welding, butt welding, and electric fusion connection. The construction process is simple, economical, efficient, and safe and reliable.

Technical details
1. Preparation before connection: Check the power supply and welding equipment to ensure normal trial operation; Check for obvious scratches on the hdpe pipe and fittings to be connected. Scratches greater than 5mm must be removed before connection can be made.
2. Connection steps: including alignment correction, cleaning of dirt, milling of the surface to be connected, heating of the end face, tightening of the docking, pressure maintaining cooling, and inspection of interface quality.

Matters needing attention
1. During the connection process, it should be ensured that the two pipe sections are on the same axis, and the misalignment should not exceed 2mm.
2. After the interface is pressurized and cooled, a water pressure test should be conducted in a timely manner to ensure the quality of the hdpe water pipe and fittings connection.
