Cast steel turbine ball valve is a common type of industrial valve, mainly used to control the flow direction and flow rate of media in pipelines. The core components of a cast steel ball valve are the sphere and the turbine. The sphere is usually made of wear-resistant materials such as hard alloy or stainless steel structure to ensure corrosion resistance and wear resistance during long-term use. Characteristic

Cast steel turbine ball valves are its simple structure, small volume, light weight, and ease of pipeline installation. The flow resistance of ball valves is small. When a full diameter ball valve is opened, the ball channel, valve body channel, and connecting pipe diameter are equal and form a diameter, and the medium can flow almost without loss. The ball valve can be fully closed and fully opened by rotating 90 degrees, with quick opening and closing.

Application area

Cast steel turbine ball valves are not only widely used in traditional fields such as petroleum, chemical, and power, but also play an important role in urban water supply and drainage, heating, gas supply systems, and agricultural irrigation systems. Globe valves are usually used in medium and low pressure environments, while cast steel turbine ball valves are suitable for high pressure environments and have better pressure resistance and corrosion resistance.

Compared to butterfly valve

Butterfly valves have excellent flow regulation functions at the middle opening, while cast steel turbine ball valves are more suitable for cutting and throttling.

Compared to check valve

Check valves are mainly used to prevent medium backflow, while cast steel turbine ball valves are used to control the flow direction and flow rate of fluids.
