Cast steel lined PTFE ball valve is a widely used valve type in the valve industry, mainly used to cut off or connect the flow of media. The characteristic of this valve is that it is lined with a layer of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), also known as F4, and its variants such as F46, which gives the valves good corrosion resistance and sealing performance. Cast steel lined PTFE ball valves are commonly used in industries such as chemical, petroleum, metallurgy, and pharmaceuticals for controlling highly corrosive media.Can be used in conjunction with gate valves.

Structure and working principle

The main structure of cast steel lined PTFE ball valve includes valve body, ball body, valve seat, sealing ring, and driving mechanism. The valve body is usually made of cast iron or cast steel structure, and lined with a layer of PTFE material on the inner wall. As an opening and closing component, the sphere controls the flow or cutting off of the medium with the rotation of the valve stem. The sealing ring is responsible for cooperating with the sphere to form a good sealing effect and prevent medium leakage. The driving mechanism can be in the form of manual, electric, pneumatic, or worm gear.

Characteristic

Corrosion resistance: Tetrafluoroethylene lining can resist almost all chemical substances, including strong acids, strong bases, and many organic solvents.
Mechanical strength: The cast steel material provides sufficient mechanical strength, allowing the valve to withstand high working pressure and temperature.
Sealing performance: The design of the ball valve allows for leak free closure throughout the entire pressure range, ensuring that the medium does not leak.
Easy maintenance: The cast steel ball valve has a simple structure and is easy to maintain and replace components.
Long service life: Due to its excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, cast steel lined PTFE ball valves typically have a longer service life.
