PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION： Pharmacodynamics Tylomycin Soluble powder is a macrolide antibiotic for animals. Animal Antibiotics.It has a strong effect on mycoplasma and its antibacterial spectrum is similar to erythromycin. Sensitive gram-positive bacteria are Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus), pneumococcus, streptococcus, anthrax bacillus, swine erysipelas, listeria, Clostridium putrefaciens, Clostridium emphysematus and so on. Sensitive gram-negative bacteria are haemophilus, meningococcus, Pasteurella and so on. Sensitive bacteria can develop resistance to this product, and Staphylococcus aureus has some cross-resistance to this product and erythromycin.

Pharmacokinetics Tylomycin can be absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract after internal administration, and the peak blood concentration of Tylomycin phosphate is reached within 1 hour after internal administration in pigs, while Tylomycin phosphate is less absorbed. Tylomycin is widely distributed in the body after absorption, and the organ concentration of injection is 2 to 3 times higher than that of internal administration, but it is not easy to penetrate into cerebrospinal fluid.
