Vertical Fluidized Bed Dryer Application

Working Principle
Purified and heated air is introduced from the bottom through suction fan and passed through the screen plate of raw material. In the work chamber, the state of fluidization is formed through stirring and negative pressure. The moisture is evaporated and removed rapidly and the raw material is dried quickly

Machine structures
1. INLET AHU
The inlet AHU consists of Primary filter(G4), Post filter (F8), high efficiency filter(H13 )and heater with accurate temperature control. The inlet air flow, speed and pressure is variable and controllable. For the heater , it can be steam radiator ,electrical heater , gas furnace and so on .
2. MAIN BODY STRUCTURE
The main body structure consists of bottom bowl, movable product bowl with trolley , fluidized chamber, expansion chamber/filter housing. The bottom bowl, product container and fluidized chamber are inflatable silicon gasket sealed with compress air inspection sensor to assure the reliable sealing.
3. PRODUCT FILTER
The double structured bag filter in two pieces (in case request, stainless steel filter available) is inflatable silicon gasket sealed between the expansion chamber inner surfaces with compress air inspection sensor to assure the reliable sealing. A dust sensor is mounted on the exhaust piping and interlocked from control sys to secure the product safety during processing stage.
4. EXHAUST AHU
The exhaust dust collection filter is optionally designed for protect environment.

6. HMI and PLC control system, motor speed is controlled by VFD, and all process parameters can be recorded.

What is power consumption of the vertical fluid bed dryer?

There are two critical factors to consider when analyzing the power consumption of fluidized bed drying machines. One is the power source and the second factor is power consumption.

The power source is the one that connects to the main supply. The power ranges between 220V/380/410/480V, and the frequency of the world just has 60HZ/50Hz.In terms of consumption, it varies between 3kW to 55kW, but this is just the main machine working electrical power excluding the heating system. because heating systems are used for electrical that just for a small model such as lab fluid bed processor and 10-30kg dryer. the bigger model is best to use steam heating so that keep the machine economics working.
