Products Description
Fine bubble disc diffusion aeration system, used to transport air and oxygen into wastewater or industrial wastewater. Microorganisms in water require oxygen to decompose pollutants. The fine bubble diffuser generates a large number of very small bubbles, which slowly rise from the bottom of the aeration tank in wastewater treatment plants or sewage treatment plants, and effectively transfer a large amount of oxygen to the water. Oxygen combines with food sources and wastewater, causing bacteria to produce enzymes that help decompose waste, allowing it to settle or be filtered by membranes in the secondary clarification tank.
Different materials for microporous bubble diffusers:
Material: Ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber
Made by compression molding, using standard vulcanization process, low plasticizer content, and pore size of 1 or 2 millimeters. Using modern equipment equipped with independent thermocouples and vacuum technology for compression molding ensures that the product has a very high quality that can be repeated.
Material: Silicone rubber
Silicone rubber film has high temperature and chemical resistance, which is different from other products. Silicone rubber is an inorganic material, therefore it has excellent resistance to many organic wastes. Our formula is designed to resist tearing and creep while generating microporous bubbles under moderate pressure drop.
Material: Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)
The PTFE surface layer protects the EPDM substrate from chemical attacks while significantly reducing fouling on the membrane surface. We expect PTFE coated EPDM membranes to be more durable than standard EPDM, thereby further reducing lifecycle costs. Due to its expected lifecycle cost-effectiveness and reduced maintenance, it is used in major cities worldwide.
