Classification of Elbows by Production Process and Curvature Radius

By Production Process: Welded elbows, stamped elbows, push-formed elbows, cast elbows, butt-welded elbows, etc.

By Curvature Radius: Long radius elbow (with a curvature radius equal to 1.5 times the outer diameter of the pipe, i.e., R=1.5D) and short radius elbow (with a curvature radius equal to the outer diameter of the pipe, i.e., R=1.0D).
