LW-01 Alkaline Etching Additive is a light yellow liquid with a solid content exceeding 43%. In the realm of aluminum surface treatment, it serves as an important aluminum etchant.

Alkali etching is a crucial process in the pretreatment stage and is one of the significant factors in achieving a uniform color tone and surface gloss. Among various oxidants, the basic etching additive, like LW-01, plays a pivotal role. Whether dealing with extruded profiles or plates, defects are bound to occur during extrusion, rolling, and transportation. While these defects can be addressed through polishing and grinding, using alkaline etching to corrode the surface is a more favorable approach.

For the Aluminium Anodizing Process, proper pretreatment is essential. LW-01 Alkaline Etching Additive helps in creating an ideal surface condition before anodizing. By preventing issues such as partial over-corrosion of the aluminum and the formation of pitting that could affect the product's appearance, it contributes to better results in the anodizing process.

After the anodizing process, when it comes to Cleaning Anodized Aluminum, having a properly etched surface from the start makes the cleaning process more manageable. LW-01's ability to avoid the formation of hard lumps of aluminum hydroxide that could cover the tank wall, tank bottom, and heating tubes and form white hard scale also benefits the overall maintenance of the equipment used in the anodizing and cleaning processes.

As an aluminum cleaner in a sense, LW-01 helps in removing surface defects and preparing the aluminum surface for subsequent treatments. It doesn't function like a traditional cleaner but contributes to a cleaner surface for further processing.
