Self operated control valve, also known as self operated regulating valve, is a regulating valve that uses the energy of the medium itself (such as pressure and temperature) to drive the valve to work automatically. It is a valve used in a fire water system that connects fire water and domestic water in parallel, and is used to adjust the direction of water supply.

Basic characteristics

When a fire occurs, the fire department urgently needs a large amount of water and immediately cuts off domestic water to ensure sufficient fire water supply; When the water pressure decreases after the fire stops, the valve automatically opens and returns to a normally open state, restoring domestic water supply. This valve eliminates the need for a dedicated fire water supply network in the system, greatly saving construction costs and water consumption.

Working principle

The core of ZYC self operated differential pressure control valve lies in its self operated design, which can operate without external energy. When the pressure inside the system changes, the built-in pressure sensor senses the change in pressure difference and drives the opening or closing of the valve through a mechanical device to adjust the flow rate through the valve and maintain stable flow and pressure difference on the user side.

Control valve has high sensitivity, safety and reliability, easy debugging, and long service life. Self operated control valve is a valve for water pressure control. The hydraulic control valve consists of a main valve and its attached conduits, pilot valves, needle valves, ball valves, and pressure gauges. According to different usage purposes, functions, and locations, it can be evolved into remote control float valves, pressure reducing valve, slow closing check valves, flow control valves, pressure relief valves, hydraulic electric control valves, water pump control valves, etc.
