Electric gate valve is also known as electric flange type gate valve， is an automated valve that combines the functions of electric actuator and gate valve. It is a rising stem gate valve mainly used to control the opening and closing of fluids in pipelines. It mainly consists of two parts: an electric actuator and a valve body. The electric actuator is responsible for receiving instructions and driving the valve to open or close, while the valve body is responsible for actually cutting off or conducting the medium. Electric gate valves have been widely used in industrial pipeline systems due to their advantages of easy operation, fast response speed, and not limited by manual labor.

When installing other valves before and after the electric gate valve, the following points can be considered:

1. Bypass valve: For large-diameter and high-pressure gate valves, a bypass valve can be installed outside the main gate valve to reduce the opening and closing torque. The inlet and outlet of the bypass valve are connected in parallel with both sides of the main gate valve to reduce the torque before the main gate valve opens.

2. Check valve: In some applications, it may be necessary to install a check valve before the electric gate valve to prevent medium backflow.

3. Y-shaped filter: Installing a filter before the electric gate valve can protect the valve from impurities and extend its service life.
