 The watch dial etching process  

Etching is a relatively common process, and we often use it in custom watch dials or other watch accessories surface treatment . For some 316L  stainless steel quartz watch , some people like to make etching dial . Do you interested to know it process ? It uses a strong acid solution to corrode the metal watch dial surface, and the most common etching solution is 3 ferric chloride. Simply put , it is to cover the part you want to keep, and expose the part to be treated for corrosive liquid immersion. And control the concentration, temperature, and time, you can control the depth of the pattern.
