Ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid tetrasodiu(EDTA-4Na), also known as ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid tetrasodium, is a white crystalline powder. it is soluble in water and acid, insoluble in alcohol, benzene, and chloroform. EDTA-4Na Cas:64-02-8 can react with various metal ions to form chelates. The pH of a 1% aqueous solution is about 11.8; EDTA-4Na is obtained by reacting ethylenediamine with chloroacetic acid, or by reacting ethylenediamine with formaldehyde or sodium cyanide; EDTA tetrasodium is used as a soft water agent, synthetic rubber catalyst, acrylic polymerization terminator, printing and dyeing assistant, detergent assistant, etc. It is also used in chemical analysis for titration, which can accurately titrate various metal ions and has a wide range of applications.EDTA tetrasodium Cas:13235-36-4 is used as a chelating agent, initiator for styrene butadiene rubber polymerization, initiator for acrylic fiber, solvent, and also used in the rubber and dye industries. It is also used as an amine carboxyl chelating agent, synthetic rubber catalyst, and as a water softener for fiber refining, bleaching, and dyeing industries.
