PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION： Pharmacodynamics ampoumycin is an aminoglycoside antibacterial drug, Animal Antibiotics, used in Animal antibacterial, Bactericidal activity against a variety of gram-negative bacteria (E. coli, Pseudomonas, Salmonella, Klebsiella, Proteus, Pasteurella, treponema suis, Bordetella bronchitis), Staphylococcus and mycoplasma. The unique chemical structure of amplomycin can resist the inactivation of multi-plasmid encoded inactivation enzymes, so Gram-negative bacteria are less resistant to it, and many pathogenic Escherichia coli and Salmonella isolated from animals are sensitive to it. There is no cross-resistance between ampltin and other aminoglycosides caused by chromosome mutation.

Pharmacokinetic ingestion can be partially absorbed (especially in newborn animals), the amount of absorption is dose-dependent, and decreases with the age of the animal. The half-life of calves is 4.4 hours, and the half-life of sheep, rabbits and chickens is 0.8 to 1.7 hours, respectively.
