Amoxicillin Powder is a B-lactam antibiotic that has a broad spectrum of antibacterial action. the treatment of poultry is used for the treatment of amoxicillin sensitive gram-positive and Gram-negative infections in chickens. ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Amoxicillin

CHARACTER: White powder

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION: Amoxicillin is a β-actam antibiotic with a broad spectrum of antibacterial effects. The antibacterial spectrum and antibacterial activity of ampicillin are basicallythe same as that of am picilin. The antibacterial activity of ampicillin against most Gram-positivebacteria is slightly weaker than that of penicillin, and it is sensitive to penicillinase, so it is ineffectiveagainst penicilin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. lt has a strong effect on Gram-negative bacterisuch as Escherichia coli, Proteus, Salmonella, Haemophilus, Brucella and Pasteurella, but thesebacteria are easy to develop drug resistance. it was not susceptible to Pseudomonas aeruginosaBecause its absorption in monogastric animals is better than that of ampicillin and its blood concentration is higher, its efficacy against systemic infections is better, lt is suitable for systemic infections of respiratory system, urinary system, skin and soft tissue caused by sensitive bacteriaPharmacokinetics Amoxicilin is quite stable to gastric acid, with 74%6 to 92% absorption after oral administration in monogastric animals. The gastrointestinal contents affect the rate of absorption but not the degree of absorption, so the drug can be given in mixed feeding.Serum concentrations of amoxicillin are 1.5 to 3 times higher than those ofampicilin after equivalentoral doses.

DRUG INTERACTION: (1) The combination of this product and aminoglycosides can increase the

concentration ofaminoglycosides in bacteria, showing a synergistic effect.

(2) Macrolides, tetracyclines, amido alcohols and other fast acting antibacterial agents interfere with

the bactericidal effect of this product, and should not be used in combination.

APPLICABLE SYMPTOMS: Beta-lactam antibiotics for the treatment of amoxicillin-susceptible

Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacterial infections in chickens.

USAGE AND DOSAGE: Oral administration, one dose, 0.067-0.1g/ 1kg body weight,

twice a day for 5 days; 100 g of medicine mixed with 1L of water, 0.2g for chicken, for 3 to 5 days.

ADVERSE REACTION: lt has a strong disturbance effect on the normal flora of gastrointestinal tract.

MATTERS NEEDING ATTENTION: Chicken, forbidden during laying period.
