Properties:

Sodium hexametaphosphate is easily soluble in water but insoluble in organic solvents. It has strong hygroscopicity, and when exposed to the air, it can gradually absorb water and become a sticky substance. It can form soluble complexes with metal ions such as calcium and magnesium.
Sodium hexametaphosphate is used as a water softener in dyeing or post-treatment, which can capture calcium ions and magnesium ions from insoluble calcium soaps, magnesium soaps or calcium dyes and magnesium dyes precipitates that have been formed, so as to redissolve the precipitates. In other words, when sodium hexametaphosphate is introduced into the solution, the sodium soap can be regenerated, and even when the calcium soap or magnesium soap has been formed, the coagulation of the calcium soap or magnesium soap will disappear.

Specification:

For industrial use, such as oil field, paper-making, textile, dyeing, petrochemical industry, tanning industry, metallurgical industry and building material industry, it is mainly used as a water softening agent in solution for printing, dyeing, and boiler; Diffusant in papermaking; slow corrodent, floating agent, dispersing medium, high temperature agglomerant, detergent and soil analytical chemistry reagent. For food grade, it is mainly used as additive agent, PH adjusting agent and fermentation agent, and nourishment.
