4J36, also known as Kovar alloy, is a low-expansion alloy containing iron, nickel, and cobalt. The Curie point of 4J36 expansion alloy is about 230℃, below this temperature, the alloy is ferromagnetic, with a very low expansion coefficient, higher than this temperature, the alloy is non-magnetic, and the expansion coefficient increases. The alloy is mainly used to manufacture components of approximately constant size in the range of temperature change, and is widely used in the radio industry, precision instruments, meters and other industries.

FEATURE

It has a very low coefficient of thermal expansion between -250℃ and +200℃.
Very good plasticity and toughness.
