The sucker rod centralizer is a supporting tool designed to decrease the pumping energy loss, increase the pumping efficiency, prevent the eccentric wear of sucker rod and protect the tubing. Centralizers for sucker rods are used for centering sucker rods in well.  It is composed of coupling,centralizer sleeve and sub.

Application

Sucker rod centralizers are used due to partial-wear between tubing and sucker rod of well, especially for middle and upper parts of the rod. The application of centralizers solves the problem of the oil well partial abrasion and also plays the scraping wax function. It can greatly extend the tube and rod service life and prolong the period of the pump inspection. This kind of ideal partial abrasion prevention product not only increase oil production but also reduces the cost.

Working Principle

 The moving forward and down of pumping unit head makes to drive the centralizer on the pumping rod, which ensures the friction position not fixed in the same point. Thus, the wearing times of the centralizers extended, meanwhile,the centralizing and scraping wax functions are played.
