Aluminum Extrusion

Aluminum extrusion is a processing method by placing the heated aluminum alloy in the mold and using strong pressure to push the metal through the die hole to form the required cross-section shape. This process can produce a variety of complex section shapes, such as tubes, rods, profiles, etc., and can ensure that the material has good mechanical properties and surface quality. The process consists of the following steps: Raw material preparation: Select the appropriate aluminum alloy material, and preheat treatment as required. Extrusion molding: The preheated aluminum alloy is put into the extrusion cylinder, and the extrusion rod is used to apply high pressure to make it form a specific shape through the mold. Cooling treatment: The extruded aluminum needs to undergo proper cooling to fix its shape, which may include natural cooling or forced cooling (such as water cooling). Subsequent treatment: includes stretching straightening, cutting to specified length, surface treatment (e.g., anodizing, coating, etc.) to improve corrosion resistance and aesthetics.
