TC-PJ Accelerator 

TC-PJ Accelerator is the best light-colored accelerator for normal temperature curing of unsaturated polyester resin. It is a purple clear liquid in itself, but the color of the finished product made with resin is resin color. Usually used with initiator peroxides such as cyclohexanone peroxide or methyl ethyl ketone, the conventional dosage of TC-Accelerator PJ is about 0.5% to 2.5% of the resin. Widely used in artificial agate, polyester buttons, casting process, glass steel, polyester polymer wood, polyester home, etc.

Storage 

The product will have some loss in weight after stored for a period of time. In order to minimize the loss in weight,Thousands Chemical recommends the highest storage temperature (Ts max.) for each product.

When stored under the recommended conditions, TC-Accelerator E will remain within the specifications of the Thousand Chemicals product for at least 6 months after delivery.

Packaging and transportation

The standard package is a 25 liter HDPE (Nourytainer®) barrel,  20 kg/barrel . Packaging and transporting comply with international regulations. For other quantitative packages please contact your Thousand Chemical sales representative.        

Safety and operation

Keep the container closed, store and handle TC-Accelerator E in a dry, well-ventilated place away from sources of heat or ignition and direct sunlight.

It is forbidden to weigh and pack in the storage room.

The accelerator and the organic peroxide-based curing agent are forbiddened to be directly mixed in any case. If it directly contact with organic peroxides such as methyl ethyl ketone peroxide curing agent, a violent explosion reaction will occur, which will cause bad consequences. Therefore, the curing agent should be added to the resin first, stir well, then add the accelerator, stir evenly, then use.

The receipe

According to the working conditions, the recommended dosage is as follows:

                  Resin : 100

                  Curing agent (methyl ethyl ketone peroxide): 1-2 (adjusted according to temperature and humidity)

                  Accelerator RCA : 1-4 (adjusted according to temperature and humidity)
