1. Structure and principle
Basic structure: mainly composed of shell, rectifier, impeller, intelligent flow integrator, pressure sensor, temperature sensor, oil cup and other parts. Among them, the oil cup is generally installed near the bearing to store and supply lubricating oil, in order to reduce friction between the bearing and the impeller.
Working principle: When the airflow enters the flowmeter, it is first rectified and accelerated by the rectifier. Under the action of the fluid, the turbine overcomes the resistance torque and friction force and begins to rotate. Within a certain flow range, the angular velocity of turbine rotation is proportional to the fluid volume flow rate. By utilizing the principle of electromagnetic induction, a pulse signal proportional to the volume flow rate of the fluid is sensed from a coaxial rotating signal wheel through a Wiegand sensor. After amplification, filtering, and shaping, the signal, along with temperature and pressure sensor signals, enters the microprocessor of the intelligent flow integrator for processing, and finally displays the volume flow rate and total amount of the gas on the LCD screen.

4. Use and maintenance
① Installation requirements: The flowmeter should be installed on a horizontal pipeline, and the length of the front and rear straight pipe sections should meet the requirements. Generally, the upstream straight pipe section should be ≥ 10DN, and the downstream straight pipe section should be ≥ 5DN (DN is the nominal diameter of the pipeline). Meanwhile, it is important to avoid installation in places with strong vibrations and electromagnetic interference.
② Regular inspection: Regularly check the operation status of the instrument, listen to whether there is any noise during operation, and check whether the data on the meter head is accurate and coherent to ensure the normal operation of the flowmeter.
③ Oil lubrication: Regularly add instrument specific oil to the oil cup according to the cleanliness of the gas and the usage environment. The lubrication cycle of flow meters in general stations is one month, and four strokes should be pulled during each lubrication; The working pressure of flow meters in urban pipelines is relatively low, and oil is usually added every 3 months.
④ Cleaning and maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain the flowmeter, generally cleaning the machine surface every two weeks and inspecting and cleaning the machine every six months. During cleaning, be careful not to damage the parts inside the measuring chamber, especially the impeller.
