First detach the dust cover from the base and pull it off by holding the ball head firmly. Cut the rolling strip, remove the dust cover from the old ball head, put it on the new ball head as it is, fix it with the rolling strip and cut off the excess rolling strip. Then insert the gear lever into the ball head with force as it is, and then clip the buckle at the bottom of the dust cover back into the base to complete the replacement process.
