V-cone Flowmeter is one of the Throttling devices.

leakage and blockage are easy to occur. 

Now with the technological development of differential pressure transmitters, the volume is smaller and the performance is better. The emergence of stable and easily adjustable differential pressure instruments has led to the development and use of integrated throttle flow meters (orifice plates, nozzles, annular orifice plates).

Standard throttling devices are: Standard Orifice, ISA Standard Nozzle, Long Neck Nozzle, Classic Venturi and Venturi Nozzle; 

Non-standard throttling devices are: Annular Orifice, Quarter Circle Nozzle, Quarter Circle Orifice Plate, conical inlet orifice plate, round orifice plate, eccentric orifice plate, double orifice plate, low pressure loss flow tube, rectangular venturi tube, V-cone flow meter, wedge flow meter, built-in orifice plate, orifice plate etc.

Features:

Low installation requirements: Upstream 0 ~ 3D straight pipe, downstream 0 ~ 1D straight pipe;

Wide Range ratio:Usually 10:1, the widest is 50:1 if appropriate parameters are selected;

Small pressure loss:The same β value, pressure loss is only 1/3 ~ 1/5 of orifice plate ;

Wear resistance: After throttling the streamlined cone , there will be a vacuum layer effect on the surface of the cone, which makes the cone not easy to wear;

No plugging, no adhesion: thoroughly purged cone design avoids residue, congelation or particle stagnation in the fluid;

Good long-term stability: β value can be unchanged for a long time, and ensure long-term accurate measurement;

high temperature and pressure medium can be measured, the maximum working temperature is 850℃,the maximum pressure is 40MPa;

Dirty media can be measured (blast furnace gas, coke oven gas, etc.)

The gas-liquid two-phase medium can be measured

High precision and good repeatability.
