The GXY-2 core drill is a device used for geological exploration and rock sampling. It is mainly composed of drill pipe system, drill head, drill pipe lifting system, hydraulic system and electrical control system.

The drill pipe system is the core part of a core drill rig and consists of multiple drill pipes connected together by threads. The upper end of the drill pipe is connected to the drill head, and the lower end is connected to the drill pipe lifting system. The drill head has a rotating function, which can drive the drill pipe to rotate in order to drill underground.

Drill pipe lifting system is used to control the drill pipe lifting movement, through the hydraulic cylinder to achieve the drill pipe up and down movement. The hydraulic system provides power support, providing the hydraulic pressure required for the drill head and drill pipe lifting system.

The electrical control system is responsible for controlling the operation of the whole drill, including controlling the rotation speed of the drill head, the lifting speed of the drill pipe lifting system and the working state of the hydraulic system.
