White silica (Silicon Dioxide, SiO2) plays an important role in paint protective film. It is an inorganic non-metallic material 

with good chemical stability and corrosion resistance, which can provide a hard, wear-resistant and transparent or translucent 

protective layer. Adding silica to the paint can enhance the hardness and scratch resistance of the paint film, prevent ultraviolet 

damage to the paint surface, and improve the gloss and durability of the paint surface.

Specifically, white silica particles will form a micron-sized film during the coating process, which can fill the pores on the surface 

of the paint film, reduce the defects of the coating, and reflect ultraviolet rays to prevent the paint surface from aging. In addition,

due to its white or transparent nature, it can also play a certain covering power, making the paint color more vivid.

Therefore, white silica is often used in various types of paint formulas such as automotive paint, wood paint, plastic paint, etc., 

as an important functional additive.
