Nicrobraz LM
A low brazing temperature, multi-purpose nickel-based brazing filler material, used for high strength and oxidation resistance up to 1210 degrees, complies with AWS, AMS, G.E., and many other specifications.
Nicrobraz LM is a low brazing temperature, high fluidity brazing filler metal that offers high strength, oxidation resistance, and color matching in the welding process of stainless steel and super heat-resistant alloys. Compared to other high-temperature brazing materials, it has a lower brazing temperature, good fluidity, and good diffusion properties.
Nicrobraz LM can be used in aircraft components, missiles, food processors, commercial communication components, turbines, and other objects that require welding in high temperature and high-pressure environments. It is also suitable for welding in some parts of the nuclear reactor's outer core and is very suitable for blowpipe brazing.

Melting Temperature
Beginning melting temperature: 970 degrees
Full melting temperature: 1000 degrees
Brazing temperature range: 1010-1175 degrees
Available Forms
Standard format: -140 atomized powder (can be stirred with Nicrobraz binder or 'S' to make a paste). It can also be made into welding rods and welding tape.
Customizable format: To convert the metal welding powder into a gel-like suspension, stir it with NSD, making it easy to form into sheets and pastes.
Physical Properties Hardness: The hardness of these solder joints is typically lower than other metal fillers. The hardness of the brazed joint ranges from 160-700, with higher temperatures and longer times leading to decreased welding effectiveness.
Capillary Effect: The best welding results are achieved at a welding distance of 0.03-0.10mm due to the pronounced capillary effect.
Remelting Temperature of the Welding Point: During the welding process, the brazing filler metal and parent metal have strong fluidity. If the welding temperature is higher than the initial melting point of the brazing filler metal, a new alloy may form. The actual welding temperature depends on the diffusion speed of the filler metal, which is related to the welding time, welding gap, parent metal properties, and the amount of filler.
Strength and Softness of the Welding Point: On some commonly used stainless steels and many non-hardenable metals, the strength of the welding point is higher than general welding.
Oxidation Resistance The best oxidation resistance temperature is below 980 degrees.
Corrosion Resistance of the Welding Point Fully compliant with NaK tests and high-temperature water tests.
How to Weld Nicrobraz's filler metal is pressed into tiny powder during the manufacturing process. This powder can be dissolved with a gas spreader and Nicrobraz ‘S’ to make a paste. This welding metal can also be mixed with Nicrobraz Cement to make a paste that can be taken with a brush, eyedropper, or other suitable tools.
Vacuum Furnace Welding The temperature range is between 1010-1175 degrees.
Flame Welding, Induction Heating, and Radiant Heating These welding methods require flux to prevent oxidation. It's essential to ensure the flux is dry before welding.
Usage Example A stainless steel head used in commercial milk packaging equipment is welded from four small parts using Nicrobraz LM.
