System Description     -Polypropylene Heat Shrinkable Sleeves                                                    

The pipeline 3 LPP 120C heat shrink coating system designed for 3LPP corrosion protection of high temperature of straight pipes, fittings, bends, elbows and other irregular configurations, designed for three layer field joint coating system for polypropylene coated pipeline and a three layer bend coating.

The shrink sleeves  consist of a heat shrinkable polypropylene material pre-coated internally with an adhesive. The closure patch is coated with a heat activated, high shear adhesive .

When heated the backing layer shrinks and the adhesive flows and forms a reliable corrosion protection seal onto metal and adjacent coating surfaces.

Epoxy primer is a specially formulated 100% solid two components is applied to all exposed metal surfaces without leaving holidays, runs or sags. The prime is applied in a uniform coat by brush or roller to obtain a dry film thickness in accordance with the instructions.We have high temperature Epoxy primer for high temperature for Three Polypropylene Heat Shrinkable Sleeves

3LPP is comprised of the same materials as, and offers equivalent performance to, the 3LPP factory-applied coating as follows:

3LPP sleeve  offers  the  hardness,  mechanical  protection  and  resistance  to moisture absorption required on critical higher temperature, and often deepwater, pipelines.

High Temperature Epoxy on the Steel provides resistance to corrosion and to cathodic disbandment while allowing relatively low installation temperatures.

 

PP Adhesive bonds the polypropylene sleeve to the epoxy layer and fuses to the 3LPP factory-applied coating where the joint coating overlaps to eliminate the possibility of moisture ingress.
