AISI 4130 grade is a low alloy steel to which elements such as chromium and molybdenum have been added as strengthening agents. AISI 4130 pipes are easier to treat thermally or mechanically than conventional carbon steels. The lower carbon content in AISI 4130 facilitates welding operations.
