Alloy 400 (UNS N04400) is a ductile nickel-copper alloy that is resistant to a wide range of corrosive conditions. The alloy is most commonly used in environments ranging from lightly oxidising to neutral and moderately reducing. Other applications for this material include marine environments and other non-oxidising chloride solutions.
