Red Chili Whole

Capsicum annuum var. conoides, an annual or perennial herb of the genus Capsicum in the family Solanaceae; ovate; flowers usually grow singly between the bifurcations, pedicels erect, flowers slightly drooping, corolla white or purplish; fruiting pedicels and fruits erect, fruits smaller, conical, red or purple when ripe, very spicy;  so called because of the upward point of the tops of the fruits. 
Chaotian pepper is native to tropical South America. It was introduced to China around the end of the Ming Dynasty in the 17th century, and is now cultivated throughout the world. 

It prefers a warm, sunny, well-lit, dry environment with loose soil. The general mode of propagation of the morning glory is by seed. 
The Compendium of Materia Medica mentions that the whole herb can be used as medicine, and that the rhizome, which is warm and sweet in nature, is anti-inflammatory and analgesic, can dispel wind and cold, soothe tendons and activate collaterals, as well as having insecticidal and antipruritic effects. Asahi pepper is rich in protein, sugar, organic acids, vitamins and minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, iron, etc., in which the content of vitamin C in the vegetables in the first place; more can enhance appetite, help digestion, promote metabolism. 
Ornamental
The morning glory is both edible and appreciated as a flower. It is mostly ornamental in pots, and is also suitable for arranging flower beds and flower tables; the fruiting branches can be used in flower arrangements for decoration or embellishment. 
Edible
The fruit is edible or used as a flavouring. Because of its higher spiciness than other chillies, it is suitable for making dried chillies, chilli powder and chilli sauce.
Medicinal use
