Classes 1-3 are typically divided into non-magnetic and magnetic compositions, while Class 4 is typically offered in magnetic compositions only. In addition to ASTM, Elmet offers "modified Class 2" compositions, which are 93% tungsten (W) by weight (wt%) and have some enhanced properties for certain defense applications.
