DPD Method Free Chlorine Sensor Calibration
2 year agoReferred to as residual chlorine, it is a water quality parameter for chlorine disinfection. The total amount of available chlorine remaining in water after the reaction of water with the added chlorine, in mg/L. When treating drinking water, chlorine or certain chlorine compounds (such as hypochlorite and chloramine compounds) are commonly used for disinfection. Sometimes chlorine is also used to oxidize the more polluted raw water to improve water quality. Residual chlorine is often determined to control the treatment process. The function of residual chlorine disinfectant in tap water treatment is to destroy bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms in the water, so as to ensure the health and safety of tap water. Chlorine disinfectants kill bacteria and viruses in water, preventing water contamination and the spread of infectious diseases. In tap water treatment, residual chlorine disinfectant is a commonly used disinfectant because of its good disinfection effect, easy to use and low cost. However, too high residual chlorine will bring odor to the water, and too low will make the water lose the ability to maintain sterilization, reducing the sanitary safety of water supply. This CL4.2 amperometric free chlorine sensor has a 4-20mA output and is suitable for chlorine measurement in drinking water and tap water. We offer different measuring ranges, which customers can choose according to their needs.
